Launched in 2020 by acclaimed publisher and content creator Doug Sims (Grander Media, Grander Magazine, Liquid Arts & Entertainment, Liquid Lounge Radio, Sims Photography), and business partner Blair Browne of Jalian Blair Entertainment, New Jazz City has welcomed such standouts as Nicole Henry, Najee, Tim Bowman, Lin Rountree, Phill Denny, Oli Silk, Lalah Hathaway, Eric Darius, Sy Smith, Shaun Martin (of Snarky Puppy), and Deon Yates, among others.

Sims, Browne and their New Jazz City team strive tirelessly to lift jazz to new heights for longtime listeners and introduce the music, its history and its creators to new young audiences. They give the genre and its representers the respect it’s earned and the gloss it deserves.
